You have no idea

Last night my wife treated me to dinner and a movie. It was actually kinda nice, although it cut into my normal routine of Wednesday night basketball at the YMCA. After a very dissatisfying meal at a steakhouse that shall remain un-named, but it was somewhere (out back). We went to the IMAX theatre at Southcenter mall. after finally deciding on "I Am Number 4" we settled into our seats and the 20 minutes of previews began. I rather enjoyed them because I know if I will have something to look forward to during the summer movie season, and I am happy to say that I am very excited.
So anyway as we were watching the movie, I began to realize something. This movie is much like how we are in Seattle. So the movie was about these aliens that were trying to blend in and hide out from the other aliens who were hunting them down. The ones hiding out had special skills and were the last of their kind. So the outlaw aliens were trying to hunt them down one by one to completely kill off the race. It's funny because I believe that there are so many gifted and specially talented people right here in Seattle. The thing is the aliens could never settle in any one place because they were constantly running from the outlaws. They would find a place and have to run in order to keep from getting killed. Apparently they decided at some point that it was better that they split up and not stick together. It could have helped them blend in better, it could have done a lot of things, but what they didn't realize is that they were not nearly as strong apart as they were together. So finally the main character decided that he was done running. It was time to stand and fight. Once he made that decision another of the aliens showed up just in time to help him defeat the outlaws and start their mission to unite with the rest of their people. We have to realize that we are so much stronger and much more powerful together than we are separated and spread out all throughout this country. One line in the movie that stood out was "You have no idea what you are capable of." and I completely agree. We have no idea. Motown started off in a small house in Detroit. With the best singers and musicians in Detroit, and grew into a legendary family. Seattle has equally talented singers, musicians and plenty of houses.
